Re-inventing Jinnah again again..

Jinnah has been again reinvented, this time it is by Jaswant Singh. Why is a person like Jinnah been discussed again again by the BJP members. First it was Advani and then now it is Jaswant Singh. How can a person who divided India on communal lines and created Pakistan can be secular. It was Jinnah who called for the 'Direct action day' resulting into killing of thousands of people leaving many homeless. Did Jaswant Singh forget all this ?

The only motive possible they are trying to achieve is scoring a point in eyes of minority. But I don't think it will either help BJP or any of its member. Advani tried it earlier and now it is Jaswant singh. The only possible outcome will be opposition form 'sangh parivar' and they will also loose some upper caste votes. Presently there seems to be two lines of thoughts in BJP; first one to return back to hardline hindutva and the other one to drop hindutva completely. They are not able to decide which way to go since there are lots of inter-party differences. The Rajnath Singh and Arun Shourie camp will like to go on the first path while Advani and Jaswant Singh camp the other one.

Jinnah left the world a long time back and BJP should leave these types of issues and concentrate on impotant issues faced by our country like poverty and corruption. Then only there are some chances of BJP to give some competition to congress in 2014.
Otherwise this time too people will 'Ram Ram' BJP.
